Yago Oproprio
From the outskirts of São Paulo to the Latin rhythm of Caracas, Yago Oproprio fuses funk, rap and urban poetry in unique creations.

Born in the East Zone of São Paulo, Yago Oproprio fuses national funk and rap with different Latin rhythms, influences he acquired when he moved as a child to Caracas, Venezuela, where he learned Spanish and came into contact with the music of Calle 13, Orishas and Don Omar. Yago Oproprio will land for the first time in Barcelona on October 21, at the Jamboree.
Yago Oproprio
Born in the East Zone of São Paulo, Cohab II, Yago Oproprio carries with him the DNA of peripheral musical influences. Still a child, he moved with his mother to Caracas, Venezuela. There, he learned Spanish and came into contact with the music of Calle 13, Orishas and Don Omar. From there came the influences of Latin sonority, which imprinted rhythm and uniqueness to his creations.
Back in Brazil, he settled in Cohab 1, Artur Alvim. In this territory, he traced a strong path with funk and national rap, with artists such as Sabotage, Duda Marapé, Sombra and Racionais, while absorbing names such as Chico Buarque, Moreira da Silva, Pedro Luís and Parede, among many others.
It is from this mixture of street and peripheral art that the urban poetics that is not limited to a single world emerges. Yago Oproprio follows the paths of dialogue with people and cities, he jumps from the periphery to the world, without abandoning his roots.
